These professional-grade annotation options serve multiple use cases – from marking up charts for personal analysis to creating educational content for your community. Each element is fully customizable, allowing you to tweak colors, borders, thickness, and fills to match your personal preferences. Importantly, these enhancements maintain full functionality across both desktop and mobile trading interfaces.
Automated Vision: Pattern Recognition Tools
Aware that identifying and measuring complex market structures often requires a trained eye and manual plotting, we’ve implemented a specialized Pattern Recognition suite that streamlines this process, allowing you to plot specific technical formations with precision.
The new Patterns section includes the following dedicated tools:
- Head and Shoulders: Automatically draws the neckline and fills the area between the neckline and peaks for instant visual emphasis
- Triangles: Connects alternating highs and lows with dynamic trendlines and filled areas
- Harmonic Patterns (ABCD & XABCD): Map out harmonic structures and include calculated ratio labels to help you validate setups according to Fibonacci principles

Frictionless Flow: Stay in Drawing Mode
Speed is essential when the market is moving. Previously, annotating a chart required repeated clicks to reactivate a tool. With the new “Stay in Drawing Mode” feature, we’ve eliminated this friction.
You can now simply toggle a dedicated button to remain in drawing mode. This allows you to quickly draw multiple lines and shapes, or add notes, without interruption. The system intelligently auto-exits this mode when you switch to other chart functions, ensuring your workflow remains smooth and predictable.
Precise Measurements: Info Line & Crosshair Ruler
Precise measurement forms the foundation of effective risk management and strategic trading. To enhance your analytical capabilities, we’ve introduced two powerful ways to provide instant market metrics: the Info Line and the Crosshair Ruler.
The Info Line
With the tool, you can draw a permanent line between any two points on your chart to clearly visualize their relationship. An anchored information box displays key metrics, including percentage change, absolute price difference, point difference, candle count, and time elapsed. The data updates in real time as you adjust the line, making it perfect for saving analysis directly on your chart.
The Crosshair Ruler
For quick, temporary checks, the Crosshair Ruler is your go-to solution. By holding Shift + Drag (on desktop) or Long-Pressing (on mobile), you activate an overlay that highlights the selected range. It displays the same rich metrics as the Info Line but disappears when released, keeping your workspace clutter-free.
